Meet Himmel & Austin (bonded pair)

Himmel and Austin are a brother/sister pair. Himmel is an agouti male and Austin is a chinchilla female. They were born in May 2024 and have been in foster care with NMHRS since they were a week old.

Since they are young, they will need a lot of room to romp and play. They are total sweethearts and have extremely soft fur. They love being petted when snuggled next to each together.

Even though Austin is the shy one, she is still very loving and affectionate towards her brother and her foster humans. She is a big fan of doing zoomies!

Himmel is friendly and food-motivated! He loves playing with cardboard boxes, being inside, on top or chewing them! Did you know that rabbits are happier, healthier, and live longer in pairs?
