Meet Halushki
Hey all!
I’m Halushki! ..Aka Lushy!!
I’m a 2 year old bun (born July 30, 2021) who came to Popcorns & Binkies Rescue Haven with my Mom, Dad, and 3 sisters!
Let me start by saying that I am an absolute angel of a bun. I’m full of youthful spunk!
I am super social bun - I get very excited when anyone pays attention to me.
I will grunt and come running up to you for head massages as soon as you come down to meet me at my height.
My litter box skills are fairly good. I usually do my business inside the box, but sometimes I pee on my snuffle matt (I can’t help it, it feels like a soft lawn to me!). Foster Ma puts pads under my snuffle mat and that wicks away any stray pees! I’m sure I could get the hang of NOT peeing on the fake lawn if I moved to a new house to start fresh. Old habits.. ?????
I “hoppily” look forward to one day hearing all about YOU & becoming best friends ??
Like her sisters, Halushki has an ongoing, moderate case of pododermatitis. She will require booties for the remainder of her lifetime. We will provide 2 pairs with adoption, and you will be able to purchase future pairs from the rescue at a discount! During the adoption process, we will show you (in person) how to put on booties, explain how to take them off, how to clean, etc. We will always be available for assistance and questions post adoption, for her life! She will still live a happy life with regards to this condition, it just means that you have to be a little extra mindful of her flooring.
She is best suited for a home with no children under the age of 12.
Her adoption fee is $40.00.
If you are interested in meeting Halushki, fill out the adoption application on our website:
www.popcornsandbinkies.org
Adoption fee includes:
* Health check upon entering rescue;
* RHD/RHD2 Vaccine (unless medically advised not to do so)
* Spay/neuter (unless advised by our veterinarian not to, due to age or health issues);
* Educational information booklet, including a list of rabbit savvy vets in Winnipeg;
* Ongoing access to our team for questions that may arise after adoption (for the life of the animal)
