Meet Fork & Spoon

FORK & SPOON
Female, Lionhead/Lop Mixes
DOB: estimated April 2021

Spoon and Fork are a bonded pair (presumed to be sisters) that were found outdoors over the summer. They are both very curious little bunnies who love to hide in boxes and enjoy their hay, an occasional treat, and fun stuff to chew on.

Spoon is the short haired mostly white bun. She is definitely the more mischievous of the two! She has a ton of energy and is a little escape artist! Because of this, we've had to craft quite the fence to keep her in their designated zone (my dining room, hence their names!) (My dining room is open to the kitchen and living room so I don't have a door to close to contain them.) She is also quite the digger, which we've tried to direct towards cardboard and toys.

Fork is the lionhead. She is a little more timid and definitely is not a fan of picking picked up. (Spoon will temporarily tolerate being picked up if she's just being moved to another spot.) Although she's timid, she's a total sweetheart once she warms up to you. She will hide at first but seems to get comfortable around people pretty quickly, especially if they are providing food or hay haha.

They both get very excited when someone goes into the dining room to spend time with them. Spoon will hop onto your back at the first chance she gets (usually in an attempt to hop onto the table or somewhere else she isn't supposed to go). Fork will come over for some pets, and they will both let you know when they want attention by nipping at your pants (a habit they will hopefully grow out of).

They definitely need to be adopted together as they are a bonded pair. Usually Spoon grooms Fork, but once in a while Fork returns the favor.

They are free roam in the dining room, and they are pretty behaved for having their own room, just the occasional escape attempt from Spoon haha. Because of that I think they should be adopted by someone who will let them be free roam or have their own room and won't mind if they (mainly Spoon) sneak out sometimes. I'm sure that's a lot to ask but I really do think it would be best for them.
I also want to note we did try an x pen set up and Spoon kept jumping out, really a combination of jumping and climbing out. The fence we crafted is about 5 feet tall. She actually did try to jump/climb and get over that at first but quickly realized she couldn't do it.
