Meet Faye
Due to health and safety concerns, we are now pursuing adoptions with additional safety measures in place. We will be asking potential adopters to discuss their individual preferences and comfort levels involving safety precautions during the greeting/adoption day step. We are HIGHLY suggesting all participants wear facial coverings, stay at least six feet apart, & use sanitization of all surfaces, and hands before and after contact.
Estimated birth date: 10/1/2016
Personality: Inquisitive, Chatty, Playful, Nervous, Sweet
Favorite treats: Faye loves leafy greens like green and arugula lettuce! She loves herbs like parsley too. Her absolute favorite is banana, but she only gets that in small amounts.
Favorite toys and activities: Faye loves toys made of timothy hay or seagrass. She loves exploring new areas of the house when allowed!
Potty trained: Litter box trained
This animal daily routine: Faye gets her first half of pellets, fresh water, and fresh hay around 8 am, then gets let out of her pen to free roam. She gets her second half of pellets and her veggies around 2pm. She goes back in her pen for bedtime at around 10pm.
BFF (Does this animal have or need a same species friend in their home?): No, but Faye will need a bunny friend in her adoptive home!
Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Faye gets upset by the sound of dogs barking. She has seen a dog once through a safety gate, and froze up and seemed scared. It is recommended that she be kept separate from dogs in her new home, or be introduced slowly.
Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Faye did not like how loud the child was, and ending up biting. It was only a slight bite, but it is recommended that Faye go to a home with older children who will respect her boundaries.
Health concerns: Faye is overweight at the moment. However, this is nothing proper diet and exercise won't solve!
Behavioral concerns: Faye is in our Trust Training Program for possible cage guarding & territorial behavior. Learn more about our trust training methods at https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/trust-training
Other notes: None
Faye came to MNPPR when her family was unable to provide her with the attention she deserves.
