Meet Eeyore

EEYORE IS A YOUNG MALE FUZZY LOP. WHEN WE RESCUED HIM HIS FUR WAS HORRIBLY MATTED. FUZZY LOPS REQUIRE THAT THEIR FUR BE BRUSHED EVERY OTHER DAY. WE HAD TO SHAVE PART OF HIS FUR TO GET RID OF THE MATS. MATTING CAN BE VERY PAINFUL FOR LONG FUR RABBITS. HE IS VACCINATED AGAINST RHVD2. HE WILL REQUIRE AN ANNUAL BOOSTER OF THE RHVD2 VACCINATION. HE WILL BE NEUTERED AT THE END OF JUNE 2021 AND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN JULY 2021.

EEYORE IS A VERY SWEET AND LOVING BUNNY. HE REALLY WOULD LOVE TO BE BONDED TO ANOTHER BUNNY OR ADOPTED WITH ONE OF THE MINI-REX BABIES.

Rabbits make wonderful indoor pets. They should NEVER live in a hutch in your backyard, especially in the Sacramento area. The summer heat is too much for them. Plus they'd get very lonely and bored . Rabbits are social creatures that should be part of the family. They are curious and smart and playful. They will bond with other rabbits, people, cats, and even dogs.
