Meet Durian
Durian is an active, happy, and curious bunny. She is sweet and out-going. She comes running over to his foster Mom and is easy to pick up. She will settle in for a long cuddle after she gets a few seconds to settle down. All the babies in this litter are very FLUFFY and will require extra grooming. The litter is already litter box trained!
At 7 weeks old, we are not 100% certain of his/her sex but believe that she is a girl. The babies are super healthy, eating young rabbit pellets, hay and a moderate amount of greens. They all have an excellent appetite and are growing like weeds. The babies, not much over 1.5 lbs right now but will probably be around 4-5 lbs when fully grown.
The babies are too young to be fixed. Males are ready at 3-4 months and females at 5 1/2 - 6 months. Their MANDATORY spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee. We work with vets in the East Bay Area so adopters must live in the area so we can arrange for the surgery as soon as they are ready.
Since their mom was vaccinated for the RHDV2 virus days before she gave birth, our vet has advised that we wait till they are 3 months old before we vaccinate the babies. We will organize a vaccine clinic in Danville for the litter when they are 13-14 weeks old.
Papaya is the perfect, confident and affectionate bunny who will require extra grooming.. If you are ready to share your heart and home with this lovely baby, please fill out our application, https://eastbayrabbit.org/adoption-form/
