Did You Adopt Dr. Arlo Brownstone?

Meet Dr. Arlo Brownstone

Dr. Arlo Brownstone was found as a stray and brought to the Albuquerque shelter. He had an eye and respiratory infection, so he came into foster care with us. He is now fully recovered from both, but the eye infection was caused from a scratch that left him completely blind in his right eye.

After his blind eye developed a cataract he saw an ophthalmologist, who did not have any concerns. However, Arlo's adopter will receive a bottle of special eye drops in case his eye starts to irritate him and is encouraged to schedule a recheck with the ophthalmologist annually just like you would schedule an annual exam with your regular vet.

This good doctor loves being pet and will jump in your lap for attention. He can be grumpy at mealtime but is always excited for food and eats a lot of hay. He doesn't chew cardboard but will chew toys made out of wood.
