Deja*

Deja is a super sweet, 6 year old rabbit. She loves head pets and head kisses! She will bend down for them. She loves free roam time and binkies around the room in circles. She does not like hardwood or slippery surfaces very much and prefers carpeted areas.<br/><br/>Deja needs to be housed where she sees her people all the time or she gets stressed. She also does better when around quieter/older children and adults. When bonded with another rabbit, she was not the alpha bunny, so she would probably do well with another rabbit as a friend. When in free roam time with a cat, she would initiate the introduction but it was always the cat who would run away. <br/><br/>Deja LOVES her oxbow digestive treats and will stand up for them. She likes timothy hay balls, fleece blankets, pop-up tunnels/tubes and cardboard/boxes. She has excellent litter box habits and prefers that her litter box be grated for some reason.<br/><br/>When being groomed, Deja much prefers the use of damp hands or a rubber glove over a brush. She tolerates nail trims but has to have one person hold her and another do the trimming. <br/><br/>Deja eats first or second cut timothy hay and Spring mix salad. She currently lives in the living room in a 4 x 4 foot pen with a 4 x 3 foot run with a cardboard hide box, fleece blankets, a 3 way tube, a pumice bite block, litter boxes and a water dish. She is free roam for at least an hour daily but usually more with offered pets and kisses.<br/><br/>Deja is currently living in Cockeysville, MD. We take rabbits at risk of euthanasia from shelters in Maryland, DC and Virginia. We also rescue abandoned and neglected rabbits and assist with large confiscation cases.
