Meet Cruiser

Hi, I'm Cruiser! I came in with my brother, Bruiser. We were fully bonded but now we don't always get along that well. I'm at a bunderful foster's house but my brother and I would really like a place of our own. I guess I'm considered a special needs bunny. I hurt my back somehow and can't hop or play like I used to. They say I'm handicapped, though I say I'm handicapable! What do you say?

Cruiser is a curious little BUNdle of energy!

These are bonded brothers. Their parents are a handsome Holland Lop, Bruno, and a beautiful LionLop, Zsa Zsa. These adorable little LionLops have big personalities. Though I think we got the names mixed up, LOL. Cruiser is the more dominant "tough guy" and Bruiser is the more laid-back, gentle soul - just wanting to slow-cruise through life.

In fact, Bruiser's so gentle that he has been having an ongoing issue with his brother, Cruiser, who he loves immensely, but who just wouldn't stop bullying him. All in brotherly love. Typical brothers! This even in spite of long, attentive efforts to keep them bonded. They'll seem to be doing good with each other for a bit, but then eventually a "fight" breaks out. Bruiser would like to be treated as kind and gentle as he is. He needs a hooman(s) who's willing to consider adopting both he and his brother and continuing the efforts to patiently keep them together - even if that means that they live separately side-by-side rather then in the same enclosure.

Cruiser has special needs - he has back problems that affect his hind legs, at some times more than others. We wonder if perhaps moments of pain or discomfort might be what triggers Cruiser's outbursts. Either way, safety of both buns is a priority. As well as their happiness, which is why we're still trying to keep them together as they are otherwise quite bonded.

They both prefer hooman(s) that are also okay allowing them to stand on their own four feet and interacting with them down at their level. Socializing is not their strong point, so time and willingness to work with them on that is also important.
