Coltrane is guaranteed to light up your life through his abundance of joy. This happy boy is one of the sweetest and friendliest rabbits you'll ever meet. It's impossible to not like him or to not smile while you're around him. He is also a great snuggler!

Found as a stray at about 3 weeks old, Coltrane then acquired a double ear infection at about 2.5 months old. After lots of antibiotics and an ear flush procedure he was finally infection-free (verified by a culture) but his head tilt remained.

Coltrane does not let his head tilt get in the way. He is a champ at getting in and out of his litter box and has no trouble eating or drinking from a bowl. He sometimes rolls but it is mostly when he gets so excited for food that he tries to binky and loses his balance. He can walk just fine and loves to run around and explore, so he should still have lots of space and play time (but nothing that he can fall off of).

There is a chance that he will recover from his head tilt. Only time will tell. His forever home should massage his neck and periodically use an ear-cleaning solution to help clear out his ears. During Coltrane's annual vet exam he will need his ears looked at to make sure there isn't another infection (same as any rabbit). He will also need a half tablet of meclizine once or twice a day (bonine, purchased over the counter) which he is great at taking either through a syringe or mixed with banana.
