Cannellini's Story

**THIS BUNNY IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AT THE SHELTER** If you see an animal you're interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet

Cannellini and Split Pea are a lovely pair of brother-sister bunnies that have been together their entire lives. They spent time in a loving home, but through no fault of their own they have ended back at the shelter looking for their happily ever after. They are both very well-mannered and sweet, and will hop over to say hello and maybe even get some scritches. Cannellini is definitely a little more shy than his sister, but if you bring the snacks and a little patience and he will reward you with lots of love.

These buns do well in an exercise pen and enjoy free roaming time, as they are very well litterbox trained. They would not do well in a small hutch or cage and cannot be housed outdoors. They would prefer a home with adults but older, bunny experienced children would be great too.

Cannellini and Split Pea are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Everett Animal Services's Adoption Policy
ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT To help keep our staff, volunteers and community healthy, we now handle all adoptions by appointment. Our shelter is not open for walk-in visitors but our awesome dogs, cats and other critters can all be viewed online. This enables us to comply with social distancing guidelines while still finding loving homes. How does this work? If you see an animal online you’re interested in, click on the Adoption Application button to visit the Everett Animal Shelter web page and submit an online adoption questionnaire. Our staff will review your questionnaire and contact you to discuss the adoption. We appreciate your patience as it may take up to a week to contact you. (Also, we sometimes receive multiple requests for the same animal. We try our best, but we may not be able to respond to every questionnaire submitted.) We will set up an adoption appointment using strict social distancing protocols, and many transactions are processed ‘curbside’ outdoors. Our staff will go over appointment details when they speak with you. Renters please bring rental pet policy at time of adoption. Not having the rental pet policy available may delay or nullify an adoption. Animals are usually able to go home right away, so be prepared for your new pet to leave with you when you visit the shelter for your appointment. Animals are added and removed from our website in real-time. If an animal is no longer listed on the page it usually means it has been adopted. CATS - Adult cats (over 6 months): $50 - $75 - Kittens (6 months and under): $150 - Two kittens adopted on the same day: $200 DOGS - Adult dogs (over 6 months): $175 - $250 - Puppies (6 months and under): $350 SMALL ANIMALS & BIRDS - Adoption fees vary based on species We accept Visa, MasterCard, or cash payments. We are not able to accept checks for payment of fees or services.
