Meet Cabbage Roll

Hi! My name is Cabbage Roll, I'm almost 2 years old, and I am ready to be your friend (as long as you respect my authority ?).

I am actually a great bun companion. I love cuddling on the couch, I love getting pets, and if you work from home, I will be the perfect work buddy, staying right by your side all day. I also like to free roam wherever I am allowed to and explore things. If you have lots of room, get ready for those zoomies and binkies, I will absolutely deliver. Sometimes I like climbing on the top floor of my huge cardboard house and just sit there and watch what everyone is doing. If you provide me with plenty of cardboard and wicker toys to chew on, I’ll show you my cardboard-carving skills.

I may be a little picky with fresh veggies and greens, but if you feed me these things you definitely won’t miss – bell peppers, lettuce (green, red, romaine), cilantro, parsley, and dandelions (my fav). I am sometimes allowed to eat fruit as occasional treats, so I am letting you know that bananas are my number 1. Apples, blueberries and carrots are okay too. I also love my kibble, especially when foster humans put it into a treats ball or a snuffle mat – nutrients and fun! Speaking of treats, I love Oxbow cookies and No Furries Delights, especially their forage mixes.

I’ve been told multiple times that I am a clever girl. Apparently it’s because I am amazing with puzzle toys, I solve them before you even get up from the floor. And while we are listing things that I am amazing at, I have exceptional litter box skills. Although I do sometimes like to drag the hay from the litter box into my cardboard house, but only because comfort is important to me.

I am not a quiet bunny, I make lots of different sounds. I will grunt and growl, and that may mean anything from “No touchy, please” to “Hey, play with me”. That’s just me trying to teach you, humans, my bunny language.

If you are looking for a sassy bunny who will keep you entertained, that’s me!

Like her sisters, Cabbage Roll has an ongoing, moderate case of pododermatitis. She will require booties for the remainder of her lifetime. But don't worry, we provide 2 pairs with adoption, and you will be able to purchase future pairs from the rescue at a discount! During the adoption process, we will show you (in person) how to put on booties, explain how to take them off, how to clean, etc. We will always be available for assistance and questions post adoption, for her life! She will still live a happy life with regards to this condition, it just means that you have to be a little extra mindful of her flooring. She may also require additional treatment (such as laser therapy and/or medication in the future), but we can explain all of this further in the adoption process!

Her adoption fee is $40.00.
