Brady is perhaps one of the luckiest buns to ever join the Brigade. This boy spent the first three years of his life as a stud for a meat breeder. We can only imagine what Brady saw there, or what he was put through. His former "owner" was very happy to describe how he usually cooks and eats his rabbits once they've "served their purpose", but he developed a soft spot for Brady as he was exceptionally sweet. Once he stopped breeding for him this man posted Brady online for free, and a friend of the rescue was able to scoop him up and see him safely to Bunny Brigade.

As one would expect for a rabbit coming from his circumstances, this poor boy came to us terrified but is learning that he's now living the good life. He loves his soft blankets and binkies all the time in joy now that he isn't standing on wire constantly again. We could tell that he had only been handled when he was scruffed, as he tensed if you brush his neck. He's been slowly coming out of his shell and showing us his sweet heart that won over the monster he lived with. Every day he's a calmer, happier, and more secure bun.
