Meet Berta
Meet Berta! This poor girl was being neglected in her previous home before her surrender to Bunny Brigade Inc. She's being fostered in the Harrisburg area!
Berta is a sassy, opinionated bun. What she exhibits can only be called "lopitude!" She enjoys being petted but needs a family that will respect her boundaries. Many rabbits may run away when they don't like something, but Berta tends to grunt and lunge instead. She stands up for herself and isn't afraid to say "no!" She is not aggressive or mean - Berta just wants you to listen and respect her space.
Berta loves to run and play and gets along well with the cat and dog in her foster home. According to her previous owners, we believe Berta may be around 3 years old and was just spayed in October 2021. We think Berta is a good candidate to be bonded with another spayed or neutered bunny as well, though we suspect she would need to be the dominant bun in the pair.
