Theni & Pixel Rabbit Dwarf Mix Canandaigua , NY

Meet Theni, short for Athena! She was rescued from a dump site in the Harrisburg area. This girl, along with many brothers and sisters, came to us thin and terrified. After some TLC, their health has returned but most remain a bit nervous. She's currently residing in the Harrisburg area.

Sweet Theni is very shy, despite ongoing work to prove to her that she's safe. We don't know what she went through outside, but it must have been bad and her foster mom suspects that just maybe a human hurt her. Theni's one to try and hide in her safe space or hidey spot whenever her foster mom comes near and isn't all that comfortable with handling. She's very likely to never be comfortable with being held, but there have been instances of her allowing head pets without bolting. We have hope that she's relaxing, but there's still a ways to go. Make no mistake, Theni is a beautiful and clean girl, but her new parent(s) will have to give her time to become comfortable in her new space and slowly learn to trust you.

Pixel is Theni's brother, or at least we're calling him so! He can be a little bit skittish at times, but he's much more social than Theni. These two are currently in the process of bonding and it's going wonderfully!

Theni love playing with toys, chowing down on her hay, and watching the world around her. Are you willing to give this poor soul a forever home and teach her that she's safe and loved, despite her nerves?
