Meet Amaryllis: featured pet!!
**This bunny is fully vaccinated for RHDV*
?**I am in foster in Niles, OH**
**Amaryllis is one of our featured adoptables so her adoption fee is sponsored!**
Breed: Lionhead
Size: About 5 lbs
DOB: About one and a half years old as of December 2023
Reason in rescue: we took in a group of buns that had been sitting at a shelter in WV. They were labeled as males but were all girls and had never seen a vet or been spayed or vaccinated. Amaryllis had been there since February 2023. We knew we had to rescue them.
Personality: Amaryllis is a very sweet girl who looks like a hot mess cause of her crazy hair but she really isn’t lol. She’s definitely a lionhead so can be a little nervous at first but doesn’t mind being petted and is ok with being held. I think she's just happy to be in a safe environment now! She’s very good with her litter box. She loves living in an xpen and will binky all over the place! ?Her coat will require some extra grooming but a good brush one or two times a week should be sufficient.
Friends: She is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male.
Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen (minimum 4' x 2' for a single, 4 x 4 for a pair). Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (http://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption (but can be waived if pictures or video are supplied of where the bunny will be living). Suggested adoption donation is $100 which includes her spay, vaccine, and microchip. ?
