Meet Acorn
Meet Acorn, aka Sweet Corn or, most formally, Arthur Cornelius.
Acorn is a sweet little corn kernel who just wants to cuddle, zoom, and play. His favorite part of the day is morning cuddles in bed with his humans, followed very closely by breakfast, dinner, and bedtime snack. If you’re looking for a couch bun, a little lover, and a friend to greet you at the door, Acorn is your guy. Once he warms up to you, he’ll climb right into your lap or jump to any height to sit with you. At meal times, he’ll binky his way across the room for his bowl, then spring back out to demand a few more head pats before zooming back and tucking in to his pellets and greens.
Acorn is a sensitive soul. We don’t know much of his story before he came to the Brigade, but he can be quite skittish and reactive, and requires help and patience navigating new sounds and situations. While he’s still getting to know you, he requests that you announce your presence and move slowly around him. After a fright, he is quick to bounce back, but appreciates a warm lap to burry his head into and a little extra love before he’s back to his silly self. He has never shown aggression when scared, but to minimize his stress, we think he will do best in a household free from small children or more boisterous pets.
Corn is back at the Brigade after failing to bond with a bunny who was too bold for his liking. He has shown some positive signs during the dating process, but he may be best as a single bunny or paired with a calm, quiet friend who will move slowly and give him the space he needs.
It’s Corn! A big lump of love! We can’t imagine a more beautiful thing.
All potential adopters are carefully screened so that we can ensure our rabbits are placed only in the safest of homes. If you're interested in adopting, please copy and paste the following link in order to fill out our pre-screening application: bunnybrigadepa.com/adoption-application
