Hi, I'm Tia! I was rescued from being a community stray where I would have most likely lived a very short and difficult life, and had litter after litter of stray puppies. I'm so happy to have been rescued to live a long, healthy, happy life with a family of my very own - maybe that could be you?

I'm a very sweet girl. I used to be pretty nervous around people, since I had never lived with a family before, but I've learned that people can be super nice! Although I'm sometimes a bit shy with new people, I come around very quickly and am more comfortable with strangers every dayy. I do need a proper introduction to new dogs, but once I've met them we get along great. I currently live with another dog, cats, and young children and get along will all of them!

I am kennel trained but don't need to be kenneled when you aren't home, as I don't get into anything. I am housebroken and prefer to go on walks instead of in the yard. I will let you know when it's time for a bathroom break by bringing you your shoes! In new places it can take me a bit of time to figure out how to ask to go out, but with a bit of your help I can figure out how to avoid accidents in my new home, too. I like all walks, both short and long, and I behave well on the leash. When we get home from our walk, I love nothing more than to cuddle on the couch with my humans!
