Hey there, I'm Jinx! I came into care shortly after my emergency leg amputation. Thank goodness I'm pretty much fully recovered from that and adapting well to the tri-pod life!

I'm foster mom's shadow and love to follow her around. I'm happiest when I can have all of her attention, whether we are cuddling or going for a walk I get along with the other dog and the cat in my home, but would love to get all the attention in a home as the only pet, too. I have been to daycare and get along with most any dog, and I get along with the dog-savvy cat that I live with right now. If I were to live with a cat, they should be confident around dogs. I have shown guarding behaviour around food, and although I am working on it, I need a family who will help me understand that I will always have food and I don't need to worry about going hungry ever again!

I am totally housebroken and kennel trained, and working on my leash manners every day! I am very food motivated and pick up quickly on training. I'm still building up strength in my back leg and get tired if my walks are too long, but give me a couple more months and I should be fully adapted to life with 3 legs. Despite getting tired quickly, I still love to run, jump, and wrestle!
