Are you ready for big love? My name’s Xander, and big love is my specialty! I’m a calm, gentle, cuddly young man, who came into care after being abandoned. I have a feeling my story’s about to start a new chapter—could it be with you?

I’m a laid back soul who loves bones, belly rubs, and laying for hours in the sun! I get along just fine with any dog that crosses my path. I have also been getting along great with the cats who share my home, even the little baby kitties! Every once in a while my curiosity gets the best of me and I can't help but chase them a bit, but all in all we do pretty well together. I’m sometimes shy around strangers, but come around pretty quickly if there are treats! I have been around kids and am good at being gentle with them, even when taking treats!

I’m still fairly young and am learning every day. I'd love to learn some new things with you at an obedience class! I've got my house training down pat and am completely kennel trained, but will need a family who can continue working on my leash manners as I do pull, but with a good front-clip harness, some positive reinforcement, and a bit of patience, I should catch on before too long!
