Hey, I'm Timber. I’m not sure what happened, one day I was at home with my sister and the cat and my owner never came home. The next thing I know I am in a foster home. I really love my foster dad. We live in the country where we get to go for long walks, car rides or even canoe down the river in the summer time. Wherever my foster Dad is, that’s where I like to be. I am a true companion. Speaking of companion, one of my favorite things to do is curl up on the couch and watch a movie together. I am an award winning snuggler!

I go to doggy daycamp five days a week and get to meet a lot of different dogs. I have some really nice friends there and like to play with them but others can be a bit pushy and I get a nervous around that. I would want to meet any dog I am expected to live with, maybe even play at daycamp together first, but with the right companion, I think I’d really do well in a home with a furry sibling.

I have been around cats before. They’re pretty cool but I am kinda shy around them. Oh and I have been to a farm before and that was really fun. I got to see horses, sheep, goats and chickens. They were all very nice to meet and they liked me too. Being in the country is a lot of fun because I LOVE to run and explore. I am really good on or off leash so I suit the country life very well.

Since I love my humans so much I hate it when they leave me alone. Even though I have been with my foster dad for awhile, I still am way too anxious to be left on my own. I am an only dog though, so I think I would feel more comfortable being left with a friend. I am also trying out some other ways to help me stay calm by myself.

Are you looking for a new best friend? If so, apply to meet me today!

PLEASE NOTE: Because we do not have a public shelter, an adoption application must be filled out in order to be approved to meet any of our animals available for adoption. No exceptions. Serious inquiries only.
