Hi, I'm Kaya! I came into care last year to have my babies (the Wailer puppies)! I had to have hip surgery afterwards, which was a long recovery. I'm finally ready to find my furever home - maybe with you!

I am a goofy and playful girl who makes my foster parents laugh all the time with my silly antics. But when they aren't feeling well I know it right away and do my best to make them feel better with cuddles. I can be a very sweet girl and lots of the Underdog volunteers just love me!

I would do best in a calm home environment and with a family who would be attentive to my hip - I still require help with stretches and exercises, and need someone to keep an eye on me and tell me to take it easy when it gets sore but I still want to keep playing. Although I have made friends with some other Underdogs fosters and alumni, my foster parents think I would do best as the only dog in the home, as I've had trouble with some dogs in the past. Anyways, let's face it, being the only dog, with all my humans attention, is where it's at!

I get along fine with kids, although older kids would be best because I'm a big, excitable gal who sometimes forgets myself and could knock over little ones. While I don't like my kennel, I do just fine loose in the house and don't get into things. I would love a big yard to play in so I can run around every night and get my zoomies out. I love playing outside!
