Bailey, Lhasa Apso Lhasa Apso Mix Yakima, WA

1/10/08 Bailey went to his new home in Pasco, Wa with his brand new family Darrin, Connie and 6 year old Matthew. Thank you for adopting a rescue dog!

1/17/08 He is doing great! We took him to the groomers on the Saturday morning after we brought him
home. We are happy that he is getting along great wiht the kitty too, bailey was fine about it
all but the kitty took a few days to get used to him but now they are fine, even sharing their water
bowl. We are so happy with him, he is perfect for our family. Though he still cowers when Darrin
comes to him with the leash, he will let Matthew put it on and me but not DArrin, though he does
go out walking with him without it. IT is odd, he still growls toward him for that but not for anything
else, he will walk up to him when he comes homefrom work so we aren't sure but we hope with time
he will stop that too. We will see, but as I said he is perfect and is doing great, he spends the day
next to me all the time and at night he sleeps on my sons bed with him.

9/26/08 Just thought it has been a while since we have given you an update, and i wanted to write about how Bailey is completly a part of the family and is doing well, He LOVES to be by our side any of us always, he loves to go on car rides EVEN if it is just to run some errands! anything to not get left home alone even for an hour! He is so good, he is well behaved and obeys and is so smart. We love him and he is doing well. thanks for helping us find him!

Bailey is 9 years old, 18 pound sweet cakes. He was born on October 13, 1998.
Bailey loves to be around people.
He loves to play fetch with a ball.
He loves to travel in the car and LOVES attention. However, he is not demanding. He is just as content to lay on a cushion. He is a great dog!
He is like a big dog in a little body. He thinks he can do everything! If you are the family that wants a lap dog then Bailey is waiting for you. He needs a home where the family has time to interact with him. It takes awhile for any dog to get used to his new family and surroundings. He was adopted once and the people brought him back the next morning because he didn't act like he was there his whole life! They had him less then 13 hours! They acted like they understood when I told them about the ajustment time
