Meet Tinkerbelle

TINKERBELLE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

HERE'S WHAT HER ADOPTERS HAVE TO SAY:

I just wanted to update you all on Tinkerbelle's progress. She's doing great! She's walking much better on the leash and isn't so scared when we leave the yard. I think going to doggie class did a lot of good. Unfortunately we had to put our older dog Guiness to sleep so she's now an only child. I think she does miss him but we've tried to give her lots of extra attention so she's not lonely. She quite a character and has a wonderful personality, she's also very smart and can learn new things in a matter of days. She's figured out if she sneaks up on the bed after we go to sleep that we won't make her get down. So needless to saw our next bed it going to be king size. We just love her and wanted to thank you again for giving her a chance, and us a chance to find her.

Tinkerbelle's Original Petfinder Listing

Tink - female/spayed - baby (11 months of age) - rat terrier - Tri-color short hair - 34 pounds

This delightful pup is distinguished by her amazing speckled ears; they have a life of their own, and give Tink a strong resemblance to Yoda.

She is also characterized by one of the sweetest dispositions we have ever encountered. She is calm for a pup her age, remarkably gentle, and filled with joy. Currently fostered with a trio of small Jack Russell Terriers, she marvels at their popcorn energy, and trots about towering over them, and enjoys being dragged across the floor during bouts of
tug-o-war.

In fact, Tink enjoys everything about her happy life. She is a quiet dog - somewhat leggy - and her dark brown eyes hold contact with a soft, trusting openness. Her tri-colored body and movement style are graceful. Although we believe
that she is fully grown, we still expect her to fill out and develop more along the lines of a small lab body-type. Tink is extremely responsive, and very tactile - she loves to be cuddled and held. She has no touchy or sensitive spots.

Tink has a patient, thoughtful disposition, and although she engages in play with abandon - in fact, she leaps into the basket of toys to plunder it for one particular scrap of a stuffed toy that is her very
favorite - she has a special way of comporting herself that is immediately befriending without being pushy. Consequently, all creatures - feline, canine and human - feel a kind of comfortable assurance when meeting her and approaching her.

In addition to her wonderful tolerance, Tink is learning basic commands steadily. She is already quite far along in her housetraining, and she
approaches new experiences with a trusting expectancy. She will be a joy to train.

Tink will prove a marvelous family member, either as an only dog, or certainly as a companion in a home that already has a beloved canine in
residence.
