Meet Layce

LAYCE'S Meet Your Match Feline-alityTM is PERSONAL ASSISTANT (Orange)

You're working on the computer?  Let me press the keys.  Reading the paper?  I'll hold the pages down for you.  Watching TV?  I'll just plop on your lap so you can pet me.  I love an orderly household, don't you?  I'll help you with all your chores, and I'll help you relax when we're done.  You'll wonder how you ever managed without me.Interesting Stuff About LAYCE:
LAYCE spent the last couple of years in a home with small children; however, it was determined that she would be happier in a home with only adults or a home with older children. Layce was a a great companion while they had her and they only want the best for her.

Layce bears a remarkable resemblance to the Chartreux breed, an old natural breed which originated in France, said to have been raised as a companion by the Carthusian monks. Cats similar in type to the modern Chartreux were described in France as early as the 1700s.

Known for its woolly blue coat, brilliant orange eyes, and smiling expression, it is a sturdy, sweet-tempered cat. Chartreux are very quiet; in fact, some do not meow at all. They are attentive, gentle, and adaptable cats who enjoy being nearby their favorite people.

Layce is a sweet, wide-eyed beauty. She has a good natured demeanor. She's pretty much a calm and social lap cat, who likes both dogs and other cats, which simply is as good as it gets. She'll be true to you, and she's just waiting for her next adopter.

Layce is a 'special needs' cat. Cat Adoption Team sees the value in taking in special needs cats. Historically, Layce has been prone to seizures. This means she has to take a pill twice a day, but she's perfectly fine if you slip it into her dinner! No tricks needed for this girl! Layce's previous family relayed that Layce's seizures have subsided quite a bit making her medical situation pretty much a non-issue.

If you are willing to take this darling, easy-going girl into your home, please stop by the CAT shelter in Sherwood.
