MIRACLES DO HAPPEN!
I'M ONE LUCKY BOY!
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT -- A FAMILY FINALLY WANTS ME --
THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT MY AGE.
THEY WANTED TO SAVE A DOG AND THEY KNOW
THAT MY AGE DOESN'T MAKE ME ANY LESS AFFECTIONATE OR LOYAL.
**HUGE, HUGE THANKS TO JILL, JAMES, THEIR SON, AND LITTLE DOG SCARLETT FOR GIVING CASEY A SECOND CHANCE AT A NEW LIFE. **
I'm very excited to go to their house this week and meet their dog. They sound wonderful, and like what I've been dreaming of and waiting for all this long time.

**We will post updates here to let you guys know how I do**

I'm very happy and very lucky to be in a foster home now, but I still dream of having my very own permanent home with humans to love. I'm 10 yrs old. I'm looking for someone who will give me a safe, loving home, and share the rest of my life with me. Just because I'm older doesn't mean I can't love. I am so affectionate and just worship the ground you walk on. I'm a very lucky boy. My owner had to go into a hospital for a long time, and won't be coming back. The relatives took me, and my two best friends, a cocker spaniel, and a rottweiler to the shelter. We barely made it out alive. Someone called this rescue group about the rottweiler, and when they heard about me and the cocker spaniel being his best friends, they saved us too - they said they just couldn't leave us behind. Our rottweiler friend was in very bad shape, couldn't walk, and was in a lot of pain, and had to go to doggy heaven. I miss him terribly, but I have made new doggy friends and I'm just so happy to be given a second chance at a new life. I'm smiling and happy all the time. I LOVE stuffed animals, socks and I'm an absolute fool for a tennis ball. I have to have something in my mouth all the time. I'm very affectionate and can't stand to be alone. I lived my whole life outside, so now . . . I hate being outside, and want to be inside and stay right with you, underfoot, and think I should take every step you take. I bark and cry something awful if you make me go outside by myself now. I had heartworms but now I'm heartworm free. I have arthritis, but that hasn't slowed me or my tail wagging down. Please consider me as your new best friend. My life just isn't complete without you. $100 adoption fee. MidSouth Animal Rescue League is a 501c3, non-profit organization that relies on the kindness, generosity, and financial support of people like you. We are a group of dedicated volunteers who respond to animals in need in shelters, humane societies, strays, and individuals. We receive no federal or state funds and are supported solely by private donations.

Many of the animals we save are in need of special medical care or surgery to bring them back to health before they can be placed. Veterinary care, vaccinations, tests, x-rays, medications, spay and neutering, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, worming, food, kennels, grooming, and other supplies are provided for each dog.

We can't save their lives and give these animals a second chance at a new life, without your support. There is no minimum or maximum donation and making a donation is easy.

You can send your donation using PayPal or a major credit card by simply clicking on the PayPal link below, Please be sure to enter your name and designate which animal you would like to sponsor in the area marked "message to seller" on the PayPal donation screen.

When your donation is received, your name (or anonymous, if you prefer), will be placed on this website by the picture of the dog that you have chosen to help. There is no limit to the number of animals that can have sponsors, so please do not feel that you cannot help if a particular animal already has support.

We thank you for your support -- and so do the animals that are getting a second chance at a new life. Thanks for helping us save lives!

If you would like to make a donation to help with my medical expenses and care, or to help any of our other furry friends, or to help save others like me, please click on the Pay Pal button below, or you can mail a donation to us at:
