Meet Chewy

Hi, I’m Chewy! I came to Purple PAWS after likely spending most of my life in the streets. I’m a chihuahua/terrier mix and weigh around 20 pounds. My fosters say I’m a perfect-sized dog. They also say I’m super smart and are so proud of how I’ve adjusted to living indoors. My favorite things are soft beds, bones, treats, loves and playing outside in the sunshine. New people and experiences are still a little scary for me, so I might need a little time and encouragement to settle in. But once I trust you, I will be your best friend forever. I don’t like being alone, so a place with my humans at home a lot or a companion dog would make me really happy. A fenced in yard to play in would also be great! I get along with others dogs and don’t seem to mind cats. I’m also doing great with my house training! If you’d like to meet me, please fill out an application at www.purple-paws.org.
My adoption fee is $220 and covers my vaccines and neuter.
