Babe German Wirehaired Pointer & Pointer Mix Manhattan, KS

My name is Babe and I am a 3yr old bird dog mix of some kind and therefore point at almost everything. I have a wiry coat and weigh about 45 lbs. and my foster mom says I gallop instead of run and launch instead of jump. I came from a neglectful situation and was very skinny, reacted to leashes, didn't know what toys were,and had nu manners. I now am a perfect weight, house broken, kennel trained, sit and stay on command (most times), and now play with my doggy toys. I love running and wrestling with my foster sister so would love a fur sibling to keep me busy and entertained. I am dog and cat friendly and get excited when meeting other people so probably not good for small children. One of my favorite past times is to lie next to my mom with my head on her lap which she says interferes with her getting any thing else done. I don't bark often but will bark at my foster sister or mom when I want to play and am being ignored. One of my favorite positions is on my back with my legs in the air which is the perfect position for belly rubs. I follow my foster mom from room to room and always make time for snuggling. My tongue hangs out to the side so I have trouble giving kisses and am messy when I eat or drink and do drool some. My foster mom tells me it looks so cute and makes me special. I like car rides and going to the dog park where I can practice out running all the other dogs. One FYI, if given a bone I will try to find a place to bury it outside. I do hope to find a family that wants to add a loving and active member to complete them
