Meet Jonathan! Jonathan is about 9 months old and a possible lab mix and will most likely grow into a bigger guy. Jonathan came to HART from a local overcrowded shelter needing help with this boy. They believed he had juvenile cataracts and therefore came to us almost complete blind. The shelter knew that HART had the resources to get his eyes checked and he has gone through treatment from the eye institute.

After treatment for what was believed to be a calcium buildup in the eyes Jonathan has made an amazing recovery. He can now see fine and most of the clouding on his eyes has gone away!

This guy is a big puppy for sure with big paws to match. Jonathan spends his days at doggie day camp and loves to play with other dogs. Jonathan is super friendly towards other people and just so darn happy to see you but is a bit of a jumper and would do best with some training. Because of his temporary blindness he isn’t fully potty trained, acts like a younger pup and is eager to learn.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
