Cepheus Border Collie Mix Cincinnati, OH

Cepheus is 3 months old (late Sept) and 15 pounds of constant tail wagging happiness. He came to HART with his 7 littermates in early August once they were weaned from their momma. They are border collie mixes and the vet thinks that they should be medium-sized dogs (40-50 pounds) when fully grown.

Cepheus has a beautiful black smooth coat that shines with a tint of blue when out in the sun. He is pretty laid back for a puppy. One may think he is shy but he is not; Cepheus will not be the first one to get involved in activity but instead he will sit back and watch and then jump in enthusiastically to playtime with his brother and sisters. Squeaky/crinkly toys, wrestling matches and tug-of-war games are his favorite, and then, when worn out, he will want some snuggle time. You will be rewarded with puppy kisses.

Cepheus does well with all people and has interacted with his foster's other cats and dogs with no issues. He is very smart and is doing well at his potty training during the day (as long as he is taken outside every couple of hours), but will still need some work on potty habits overnight.

Cepheus will bring much happiness to whomever gives him a forever home.

All HART dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, including bordatella and rabies. They are heartworm tested and on preventative for heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
