Meet Uniqua
Uniqua is a sassy cat that needs a patient, quiet home. She was found after being declawed and abandoned, and as a result can be easily startled and slow to warm up to people.
Once she is comfortable, though, Uniqua is full of personality! She has a lot of energy and loves to play. She likes to trill, sometimes even when playing, and can be pretty chatty, especially when she wants attention.
Favorite toys: wand toys, kick toys, and things she can chase after
Favorite non-toy toy: hair ties. She loves to run after them, and sometimes will bring them back for you to throw again. And, even when she’s not chasing one, she’s sometimes chew or toss one around her area.
No children under 13, and children must be able to be kind and respectful. She would likely not fair well with dogs, and it’s not known if she would work well with other cats. We recommend she goes to a single cat home, to people who are both patient and willing to play with her every day.
She might require a crate to be moved to and from areas, such as the vet, instead of a carrier.
