Meet Goofey
Check out these gorgeous amber-colored eyes!! Meet Goofy, one of our newest rescues! He’s an adorable husky/pit who hasn’t quite grown into his paws yet.
Goofy probably didn’t have a great start in life, as he is skittish with people he doesn’t know. He needs a doggie friend in his fur-ever home to make him feel comfortable and a secure fenced yard. When he does start to open up, you’ll see his funny and playful personality come out! He’s very gentle with the kids in his foster home, but very young children may frighten him, and he has been respectful to the cat as well (and by that we mean he’s scared of her ?).
Goofy is only 5-6 months old, so he’s still in his puppy stage. Like all youngsters, he’ll need plenty of activity and toys to keep him busy. He is house trained (with a very occasional accident) and sleeps quietly in his crate all night, but he does need some work on leash skills.
If Goofy sounds like the boy for you, apply to adopt at purple-paws.org.
The adoption fee is $220 and includes neuter and vaccines.
