Reo is a sweet little guy who would make a perfect addition to either a family or someone with a home! He has a bark that sounds like a much larger dog and an apartment will not be a good fit for Reo. He’s very alert and sounds much larger than he is. He could be a great deterrent for anyone who didn’t have an invitation to the home. He is house trained, gets along with other dogs and is super well mannered in the house. He is great with people and is eager to be loved and cuddled. Reo is good on a leash and enjoys going on walks. He needs to learn basic commands but given his sweet loving personality there are no concerns and he can easily pick them up!
He will make the perfect companion for someone looking for a pet that enjoys spending time with his person/s. He is alert and engaged and since he’s 2 years old he’s ready to go with you anywhere, anytime.
Reo was crated for many many hours in the past, he doesn’t like being crated now so he want a home where this is not an issue. He came from an environment where he was left for an entire day in a crate with no interaction, taken out briefly and returned to the crate. At his foster home he is sleeping in a crate a night, his foster is hoping that realizing his crate isn’t a prison that over time with time & patience he may find the crate to be a refuge but crating should not be important to his new family and if it is he’s not the guy for you. He has a medium amount of energy enjoys playing with other dogs but doesn’t really care much for toys. Walking is a great exercise for him, he could be perfect companion for someone who wants to stay fit.

Reo is a great dog who deserves a home that can give him all the love he desperately needs!
