Willow Husky & Labrador Retriever Mix Manhattan, KS

Hi, I’m Willow! I’m a Shiba Inu and Lab mix, I’m around 10 months old, and I weigh around 35lbs. I have a little room to grow but I don’t think I’ll get much bigger.
I am very smart and my foster mom says I need a family who are experienced dog owners, ever better if you have experience with Northern Breeds like me! Because I’m so smart I sometimes get into trouble, but if I get enough exercise and mental stimulation I am the best girl. I am very happy to lay on my dog bed with a toy anywhere that my people are! I know a few commands and I learn new things quickly. I’m practicing a lot at walking on a leash and I will wait patiently while you make my dinner. My foster parents always tell me that I’m sweet and silly!
I don’t like cats but I think I would like big kids. I don’t always know how strong I am and I really love to play, so I don’t think I would do very well with young kids in my house. I am working a lot on kennel training but I have a lot of separation anxiety. I am getting more confident as I spend time in my foster home but I panic when I’m alone for too long. My new family will have to be patient with me and help me continue to work on these things. I do have medicine for my anxiety that helps me stay calm.
