Meet Gertrude

Hi! My name is Gertrude, and I’m a sweet older girl, about 5 years old, looking for my special human that can show me the love I deserve! I would love a home where I’m the only one to love but I would share attention with the right fur-sibling. I do not like cats much, but I have not been around them really. I do love food so much, and my foster mom is working with me on how to not worry about my next meal, as I will always have food now that I’m a Purple PAWS dog.
? I love tennis balls about as much as food. I walk fairly well on a leash. I do not have a lot of energy, but I do enjoy walks. I would also like to just relax with my human, and I love all humans to include kids! I know if you meet me you will fall in love with me! I am heart worm positive and being treated for this. No worries, PPAWS already bought all my medicine and will give it to my new mom or dad, so it will not cost my new family for this treatment. They just have to provide the love to continue to heal me.
