Hey there! I’m Mahomes, named after our famous KC quarterback! Unlike Patrick though, I’m a 1-2 year old female torti. When I first joined my foster families crew, I was terrified of anyone and everyone. But now I’m the sweetest, most loving lady you’ll find!
My foster parents don’t know my back story, but they don’t think I’ve had a good life whatsoever. It took me almost a month to warm up to even being looked at by my foster parents. I was never mean, just very very scared - I hid, hissed, and ran away. But once I realized I’m safe and will be taken care of, the game changed! I’ve blossomed into the sweetest, most attentive kitty. I love following my foster mom around everywhere and getting neck and belly rubs.
While I’ve warmed up to my foster parents, I’m still nervous around new people. My foster parents promise if you give me some time and love though, I’ll quickly become your best friend. I absolutely love playing with my foster cat siblings! We play with toys and chase each other all around the house. I would love to go to a home with other cat friends so I can keep building my confidence and playing! I don’t mind my foster dog siblings and will even snuggle up next to them sometimes for naps. I’m scared of commotion and loud noises, so I’d probably do best in a home without young kids. My foster mom thinks older kids would be fine, but we can kid test me prior to adoption.
My ideal family needs to understand that I’ll need patience when they first take me home. I take trust seriously and sometimes slowly, but my foster parents have shown me people are actually pretty cool. I love snuggling up next to you, climbing all over you, giving kisses, and following you everywhere when I learn to trust you.

My adoption fee is $100, which covers my care and medical expenses. I am up to date on all shots, FIV negative and spayed. I’m excited to meet my forever family!
