Meet Maisy

Hi everyone! My name’s Maisy, and I’m a 1.5 year old hound/terrier mix! I’m about 40 pounds of energy and excitement! I was rescued off the streets, so I’ve never lived with a human family before. My foster parents are working to teach me manners and boundaries, so I would definitely benefit from a family that’s willing to put some time and effort into training. I’m still learning about house training, but I’ve been a very quick learner! I’ve also been doing well with crate training. Even though I can be overly energetic sometimes, I’ve gotten along very well with all the other dogs in the neighborhood, and the children as well! I even did well around cats! I get a little anxious when I’m left alone, so I’d really like a furry friend to play with. I’d benefit from a fenced in yard, because I love to be outside, but I have a limp from an old injury that makes long walks pretty tough. That doesn’t stop me from running around when I want to play though! I’m a really sweet girl, whose ready to show lots of love to her furever family!
