Meet Penelope (Working Cat Program)

Hi, my name is Penelope! I was dropped off at the shelter in a box with my kittens back in June. My kittens have been adopted, but I haven't been able to figure out that people can be my friends yet, so I am in search of a warm and dry barn or shed to call my own. I'd be happy to catch some mice in return! Apply for me today!

My adoption fee is waived! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies, blood tested for FeLV/FIV, and vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.
