Tank Great Dane & Labrador Retriever Mix Cincinnati, OH

Meet Tank!!! Our best guess is this gorgeous guy is a Mastiff mixed possibly with Lab but your guess is as good as ours! If you love medium size dogs though, then Tank is your guy! Tank is about 40-ish pounds and could gain a little bit. He has the build of a lab but taller than your average one. Tank is about two years old and ready for love!

Tank found his way to HART in need of a foster. Shortly after coming to our partner vet, Tank broke with Parvo. He has since shed the virus and is happy and healthy. Parvo is a deadly disease that many dogs succumb to, but not this fighter. Parvo is also a lonely disease as once diagnosed it's best for dogs to be isolated from other animals for two weeks.

Now that Tank is in his foster home, his foster mom says he has hit the jackpot. While Tank was initially nervous, after about an afternoon he warmed up quickly. Tank loves to take naps on the couch next to his foster mom and often lays his head in her lap. And of course he gets love the whole time!

Tank is fantastic with dogs, and he loves to play with them. Tank has been around small, large, male, female, old and young four legged companions and has done great with all. He loves wrestling with his foster sister Hope.

Tank is doing well with his training. He is quiet in the crate. Tank does well with his potty habits as long as you keep a regular schedule. He also walks well on a leash but could use actual leash skills.
