Meet Wylie

Do you have a big, orange, plastic ball? Then Wylie is your dog! While out to play the other day, Wylie found such a toy in his area and it was game on! He LOVED it! It’s his new favorite item in life. If he could talk, he’d say, “Hi, my name is Wylie! I love to play ball!” He’ll chase it alone or with a friend as he has lived with other dogs previously and enjoyed their company. He also has a history of being good with kids. When he has to go potty, he’ll sit at the door and whine. Wylie was adopted from CCHS previously and returned because he is an escape artist and eats things he shouldn’t. A securely fenced in yard or long lead while outside would help with preventing his escape. As for eating items he shouldn’t, well, that may be something you learn as you go with him. Boredom can cause a dog to find amusement in things he otherwise wouldn’t so exercise, both physical and mental, would be beneficial to Wylie. Add a ball player to your life and apply today!

My adoption fee is $100.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
