Paco Chihuahua & Terrier Mix Manhattan, KS

Paco is the old man of the pack. His owner was not able to care for him and surrendered him to a vet. The vet saw what a sweet, friendly dog he is and contacted us.
Paco is an 11 or 12 year old terrier mix and weighs 12 lbs. Like many senior dogs he does have special needs. He is on anti-inflammatories for arthritis. Losing a pound or two would help with the arthritis. We are pretty sure he is hard of hearing. Whoever adopts him will need to monitor his health and understand there may be medical issues going forward.
Now here's the good news. He may be an older dog but he is not laying down! He loves taking walks and being outside. He is super inquisitive. On car rides he has got to watch out the window. He is incredibly friendly with everyone. He's not tested on cats but to be honest he probably couldn't catch one if he tried.
Paco is neutered and up to date on shots. He is house trained but like some older guys needs frequent potty breaks. He can howl in the kennel but usually settles down for the night.
Paco is ready for a furever home that understands the needs of older dogs and is ready to commit to being there for him. He will be there for you.
