Meet Star
Star is around 3 years old and weighs 52 lbs. She should not be in a home with children under 10 years old due to her shyness.
Star is absolutely gorgeous with her soft fur and bright eyes, but unfortunately she is having a hard time here at the shelter. It's so loud here, and she would much rather be in a quiet home. She's nervous in new places and will often tremble. She needs someone that will give her time and patience to come around, because once she is comfortable she is a very sweet girl. She hasn't been very interested in toys or treats, but the one thing that she seems to love here is our yard! Star needs a fenced in grassy yard where she can relax for some peaceful outside time. We highly recommend A Sound Beginning to help her overcome her fears of new places.
