Meet Ace

Hi! My name is Ace! I am a 2 year old, 60 lb Shepard mix. My life before my rescue was unpredictable. I was a stray for as long as I can remember. I was initially denied a chance at a forever home due to a small cataract in one of my eyes. But then Purple PAWS came to my rescue! Despite all the challenges that I’ve gone through, I have proven to be such a good boy. My foster mom says I’ve done remarkably well as a pet since I am house trained and potty trained. I am a bit on the younger side, so I’ll probably do best in a house that can provide constant exercise and attention (I am on the medium to high energy scale). I do get car ride anxiety and I’m learning basic commands, but those are all easy fixes to being your perfect companion. I also have a unique howl to sing as my way of saying I love you! I do well with other dogs, older kids, and cats! Care to give this former stray another chance at a forever love?
