Meet Whiskey
Hi, my name is Whiskey! I'm estimated to be a Hound/Shepherd Mix mix born around 1/28/2020. I weigh around 43 pounds and came up to Wisconsin from Arkansas. I'm here with my best friend, Emily, and we want to find a home together. We are on the shy side but have a history of being good with dogs and cats. This what the shelter in Arkansas had to say about me: "Whiskey has had a rough past in her one year of life. Wherever she came from or whatever she went through, she held on to her ability to love and trust. She will shake like a leaf for the first 5-10 minutes you're with her, but with sweet talk and gentle pets, she will settle down. It doesn't take long for her to warm up to somebody. She is so so sweet and she could use an amazing home." Apply for us today!
My adoption fee is $60.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
