Meet Axel
Axel is a cute little senior that needs a family that knows how to respect his space. He just came to the shelter after being in a home for 7 years (at no fault of his own), but is having a hard time adjusting. He can be nervous throughout handling, but does allow petting once he is more comfortable. He also does not like his food and chews touched, so he needs a family that is willing to work on this with him using positive reinforcement and one of our recommended training programs.
While he does have some things to work on, once he is comfortable he loves being cuddled in bed, getting treats, and going on walks. Give this sweet boy a chance!
Axel's age recommendation is 12 years of age and up. He is currently around 8 years old.
