To continue to place our rescue pups with Families in the immediate Austin area we are asking interested adapters to fill out our online application. We have dogs coming in and being adopted on a regular basis.

Filling out our application in advance allows us to have your application approved
And ready to go when a dog comes in that meets the applicants requirements. Then we are able to provide the adopter with all the information we have and immediately set up an individual meeting. If that meeting goes well and everyone is in agreement we start our normal one week trial adoption.

Monthly Meet & Greets (12:00 - 2:00)
Petco (in Leander) every 1st Saturday of the month
Pet Supplies Plus (Parmer & Mopac) every third Saturday of the month


** Please note: Due to their size, our dogs are not suitable for homes with children under 5..

We do not have a facility, all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers. Lil' Paws Maltese Rescue and other Petite Paws depends on donations to keep the dogs in our program healthy. Many health issues are taken care of before a dog leaves a rescue: spaying, neutering, immunizations, dental care, and in some cases major surgery.
