Hi, my name is Daenerys! I'm a 4 year old Pit mix that came up from Arkansas. I currently weigh around 46 pounds. This what the sending shelter had to say about me: Daenerys is a very gentle dog. She came from a neglectful situation. We had to use a box cutter to cut her collar off because it was so tight around her neck. We put a harness on her to let her neck loosen up and breathe. She is a sweet girl who loves to lean on you. She is a snuggle bug for sure. She will be a really good dog for a family. Awesome companion. What we have noticed at CCHS is that Daenerys would be best as the only dog in the home. She is a wiggle but that loves people but not other animals. Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!

My adoption fee has been sponsored! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
