Hi, my name is Luca! If you have a quiet home and the time and patience to win over a wary dog, then I have a match for you. I was born in November of 2019 and was brought back to the shelter because I'm a fearful dog and not a good fit for a family with kids. Once I came back to the shelter, it took a long time for me to allow the staff to leash me and take me outside. I just do not know how to trust. I now love to romp and play with the people I know. I've made some huge strides! It is everyone's hope that I am given a chance to be comfortable in a home. Please note that if you'd like to add me to your home, you'll need to make a couple of visits to the shelter to spend extra time with me prior to adoption. Apply for me today!

My adoption fee has been sponsored! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
