Meet Lonesome Dove

Lonesome Dove came to us from Fixin Ferals. He was born about 5/23/20.

How this little fellow ended up on the roof of a barn is anybody's guess. A rescue group got a call saying a kitten had been up on the roof of their barn for over twenty four hours in ninety plus temperatures.

When one of the workers at the farm was able to get him down, the poor little fellow was dehydrated and near death. Lonesome is a fighter so, after a week at the vet getting fluids and nursing him back to health, he was ready to go.

When he was put into one of ADOPT's foster homes, he was initially very frightened and shy. Since then he has really come around. He loves to play with the other kittens in his foster home and will purr up a storm when his foster mom picks him up. He is still a bit shy when being approached by someone but is quickly overcoming his fear.

Lonesome would need to be adopted with one of his buddies (Hansel or Gretel). He would do best with older children, fourteen and up. He has never had any exposure to dogs.
