Medo Shepherd Mix Columbus, WI

NOTE: Medo just arrived in the US, having come all the way from Macedonia!

For the first few years of his life, this beautiful Macedonian dog had to fend for himself in the city. He followed people who were walking around and he adored and trusted everyone. There wasn’t a person who didn’t know who he was, and--even though he was a big dog (75 lbs.)--everyone loved him and looked forward to greeting him.

Sadly, this past winter a very cruel person beat Medo.
It was after this that the local people feared for Medo’s life, so they made arrangements to have him put in a boarding kennel in Macedonia, where he was kept safe until he was brought to the US just a short time ago.

Medo loves and trusts everyone he meets, and he is fine with other dogs. He is just three years old, he is very intelligent, kind, and gentle--and he has such a zest for life! His new foster "mom and dad" tell us that he is the perfect dog, and they would love to adopt him themselves, but they are unable to do that because they need to make room to take in another needy foster dog in the future.

Medo is very healthy and he will have been totally vetted (including neutering, immunizations, heartworm test, and microchip). He needs a safely fenced yard (please, no invisible fencing) and his adoption fee is $275.
